Change can be hard, but it's always invigorating! New priorities, new purpose, and new perspective help us to keep moving forward, and finding a new home can do just that. And for me, helping people find that unique space to become their home is fulfilling and exciting work that I look forward to every day.
The Midwest was my first home- born in Chicago, graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign. But I did not realize how much my life would be changed by the Illinois Marching Band! My future husband and I met playing trumpet at U of I. As he joined the growing tech boom in Austin, I realized that while Chicago will always be one home, Austin would be the adventure and new home I craved. Now I get to share the beauty of two world class cities with my two children and family!
It’s been almost 15 years here in Austin. I’ve gotten to see the city evolve and reimagine itself- one in which there are more voices, more points of view, and still the creative vibe that makes the city pulse. I’m thankful for my snow filled beginnings, but truly excited to be a part of the outdoor running and hiking lifestyle that makes life in Austin wonderful.
For years I used my enthusiasm and “get it done” attitude as a high school history and psychology teacher. Now I get to teach home buyers and sellers about the process of getting into a house that is a good fit for them. I’ve been lucky enough to reassess, review, and reimagine where I wanted to be, and real estate allows me to help others find their exciting fresh start too. I’m excited to facilitate the process from first meet to closing, and I look forward to helping others find the joy in this great city!
